Paul Pogba has admitted that he did not dye his hair at the World Cup so that he could only be criticised for his football ability.
The Manchester United and France midfielder hosted a Q&A session on his Instagram story on Monday morning.
One question that was asked was: ‘Why didn’t you paint your hair during the World Cup?’
Pogba replied: ‘I wanted peace to be only focus on my performance and not my look so there is no excuse, they could only criticise the football part.’
United boss Jose Mourinho told Pogba to focus on what he can give to the club, not the other way around last week.
Mourinho believes the World Cup winner now needs to concentrate on what he can offer United, and claims the tournament proved what he can achieve when he focuses on football.
Pogba also responded to another question on his critics, he said: ‘I remain focused on what I have to do in the field and I never doubt my qualities.’
The session, which enabled his fans to find out more about him, also revealed that his World Cup medal is with his mother, he said: ‘I hope she gives it back after my holidays.’
One fan told Pogba that it was their birthday on Saturday and said: ‘My dream will come true if I can have you shirt’.
Pogba obliged, he said: ‘You got it, look in your DM. Happy Birthday.’
Meanwhile another supporter asked: ‘Will you start a YouTube channel and blog your daily life? Kind of like Pogba diaries?’
Pogba replied: ‘Maybe I will Pogvlog.’
