Olympique Marseille have agreed terms with Valencia for Simone Zaza, but decided to take 48 hours to think about it, claim RMC Sport.
L’Equipe had already stated today that Marseille were making a swoop for the Italy international, who has dropped down the pecking order at Valencia.
Now RMC Sport in France are suggesting the deal is done, on loan with option to buy, and the player has also given the all-clear.
However, Marseille are trying to keep their options open and are taking 48 hours before making a final decision.
This leaves Zaza in limbo and he may well look elsewhere for alternative destinations.
He is the second Italian on Marseille’s list, as the club failed to agree terms with Nice for Mario Balotelli.
