Liverpool striker Divock Origi ‘edges towards Fenerbahce’

Liverpool are prepared to loan out Divock Origi and Fenerbahce are at the front of the queue.

The Reds were forced into dropping the Belgian forward’s £26m price tag.

And a lack of interest now appears to have led to a willingness to accept a loan offer.

Turkish paper HaberTurk claim that Fener’s director of football Damien Comolli, who worked at Anfield from 2010-12, will aim to use his relationship with the club to smooth over a deal.

Origi returned from a loan to Wolfsburg last term, but Jurgen Klopp has no place for him in his squad with a departure, likely on loan again, best for all parties.
