Leicester City have made enquiries about bringing Manchester United flop Adnan Januzaj back to the Premier League.
The Belgian winger has been playing for Real Sociedad and made an impact at the World Cup when he scored against England in the final group stage game.
United are understood to retain a first option buy-back clause on the 23-year-old but are unlikely to take it up at this stage.
Januzaj moved to Real Sociedad in July 2017 following loan spells with Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, where he joined up with ex-United boss David Moyes.
Now, it is understood Leicester are considering offering him a return to English football, as they look to bolster their squad before the transfer window closes.
The Foxes have already secured the signings of Jonny Evans, James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira and Danny Ward, but have lost Riyad Mahrez among others.
Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire will not be available for the first game of the season, according to manager Claude Puel, and he is keen to bring in reinforcements.
Januzaj played 35 times for Sociedad last season, scoring a total of four goals in all competitions.
