Keita Balde Diao left out of the Monaco squad to face Nantes amid Inter links

Inter transfer target Keita Balde Diao was left out of the Monaco squad to face Nantes and spent the afternoon with his agent.

The switch to San Siro should be imminent, as the former Lazio forward does not feature in the AS Monaco squad named for tomorrow’s Ligue 1 opener against Nantes.

The official club website lists reasons for the absence of players Andrea Raggi, Almamy Toure, Pietro Pellegri, Adama Traore, Alexandr Golovin and Danijel Subasic, but doesn’t mention Keita at all.

According to Italian sources, the Senegal international spent the afternoon with agent Roberto Calenda.

What had originally been proposed as an exchange between Keita and Antonio Candreva could now go through separately from the Italian winger.
