It’s thought Barcelona’s Rafinha is close to joining Inter on loan, pending further medical checks.
The Brazilian hasn’t played since April 2017 after a series of injuries, and will struggle to find playing time in Catalonia between now and the end of the season.
That could see the Blaugrana loan him out, a perfect situation for the Nerazzurri who can’t spend in January because of Financial Fair Play restrictions.
According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, all the agreements for a move to San Siro are in place, and Rafinha has been passed fit to play since December 18.
However, the midfielder will be subjected to further medical tests by the Beneamata, to ensure he can contribute to Luciano Spalletti’s squad.
